The Haven Farmers Mural was completed in July of 2022 by Wichita-based artist Heather Byers. It is located on the north side of the MKC seed wash building located at 2nd & Kansas Avenue in Haven, KS. 67543. It is approximately 16' tall and 30' long. The mural project was organized in conjunction with Mid-Kansas Co-op to pay homage to our communities farming history. It starts from the left with primitive 1800's farming methods and then moves to mid-century methods, and then finally to our current modern methods. I think it goes a long way to say thank you to our amazing farmers who work tirelessly to put food on our tables.
